Monochrome boy pretends throwing real plane that has just taken off through the air, standing in reeds against peach sky

LEARNING TO FLY II

€3,500.00Price

This mixed media collage artwork, “LEARNING TO FLY II”, was commissioned by a couple who loved the original work but wanted it in a larger format.

The painting “LEARNING TO FLY” is a landscape artwork depicting a nostalgic scene of a little boy pretending to throw a real aeroplane into the air as if it were a toy.

The child is depicted in monochrome tones, evoking the atmosphere of an old photograph and giving the scene a timeless quality.

The combination of different media and textures gives the painting a layered depth.

This composition captures the simple imagination of childhood in a world that is both real and imaginary.
