This mixed media collage artwork, “LEARNING TO FLY II”, was commissioned by a couple who loved the original work but wanted it in a larger format.
 
The painting “LEARNING TO FLY” is a landscape artwork depicting a nostalgic scene of a little boy pretending to throw a real aeroplane into the air as if it were a toy.
 
The child is depicted in monochrome tones, evoking the atmosphere of an old photograph and giving the scene a timeless quality.
