Why choose a commissioned painting?

It's possible you've found a painting you love and that truly resonates with you. It would fit perfectly in your living space, but it's already sold. Or perhaps you'd love a large canvas above your sofa, dining table, or even your bed. You've seen a piece that would look beautiful there, but the size is too small.

That's why commissioning a painting is a good idea. You can commission me to recreate a work that's already been sold. This gives you the freedom to choose the size you want.

With my working method, an artwork is never an exact copy of a previously created work.

The composition will be the same, but the texture layers, the transfers and collages, and the acrylic paint layers will always differ, as these can never be copied exactly.

Each canvas is created anew, with new layers, new details, and its own unique soul. This makes my unique custom mixed media paintings always exclusive.

I can make memories tangible in a mixed media artwork. For example, consider integrating your child into an existing artwork.

Imagine seeing one of my paintings and thinking: that could be my child!

This way, a painting becomes much more than just decoration. It becomes a painting with your story.

It's also possible to commission a custom artwork combining your child/children with, for example, your vacation photos.

How is a commissioned artwork created?

A commissioned mixed media painting is always created in consultation. It's a collaboration between your wishes and my working method.

This is how it works:

Introduction – We discuss what appeals to you in my work. Would you like to have a sold piece recreated, an existing artwork made in a different size, or incorporate your child into one of my paintings?
Preview – You'll receive a free digital preview of a painting of your choice for your interior.
Consultation – Together, we'll agree on size, colors, and personal touches.
Creative process – I create a mixed media work with different layers. I use collage, acrylic paint, photography, texture, ink, pastels, and spray paint, depending on the work's requirements.
Delivery – The painting is finished and delivered to your home, or if possible, picked up from my studio.
